Technical Assistant for Galapagos Verde 2050 Project

Since I began my studies in Biology, I have always been interested in the conservation of plant species, because they form the basis of ecosystems. I became aware of this project thanks to the collaboration between the University of Malaga and the Charles Darwin Foundation, through which I had the opportunity to volunteer at the station.

This was where I saw the need to take care of ecosystems as fragile as those of this archipelago, and that this project works to do that every day. After my stay, I presented my final project on palynological studies on Santa Cruz Island, graduating as a biologist. In my current position as a technical assistant, I learn and contribute in the activities carried out by the Galapagos Verde 2050 project. I feel very fortunate to be part of a team that has such important objectives.
