Alize Bouriat

Alize returned in October 2018 to assist the new pilot study on shallow seamount exploration, after she had already been part of the Seamounts team back in 2017, also as a volunteer.

After graduating in 2015 with a French diploma in marine biology and environmental sciences, she gained experience working on coastal benthic and deep-sea benthic ecology projects at various French institutions.

Currently Alize supports the projects field camapigns and assisted in the data analysis of the videos and environmental data collected by the ROV along various seamounts. 

The “Charles Darwin Foundation for the Galapagos Islands”, in French “Fondation Charles Darwin pour les îles Galapagos”, Association International sans but lucratif (“AISBL”), has its registered office located at Drève du Pieuré 19, 1160 Brussels, and is registered under the trade registry of Brussels under the number 0409.359.103.
