Liliana Jaramillo, Ecuadorian researcher, passionate about species conservation and creating changes for a brighter world. Liliana is a biologist who obtained her Master of Environment degree at the University of Melbourne in Australia. She has worked with Andean native plants propagation for their use in cities as a tool for adaptation and mitigation to climate change. She has been awarded by the United Nations as Young Champion of the Earth and has been part of the C40 Cities - Women4Climate Mentorship program. She also has worked in urban restoration and community empowerment projects in Quito. Liliana aims to apply her skills in plant propagation and to help creating links between science and the community in order to amplify the scope of the Galapagos Verde 2050 project.
