Gabriela Sommerfeld M.B.A.

She studied Finance and Marketing at San Francisco University of Quito, and completed her Master's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing at the Technological Institute of Monterrey. She participated in the Kellog on Marketing program taught at the University of Northwestern-Chicago. Gabriela has conducted courses and workshops focused on customer service, customer loyalty, branding, communication and teamwork dictated by different universities such as Berkley, INCAE and others.

During her business life she has dictated different seminars aimed at entrepreneurship, markets, and competitiveness inside and outside the country. She was the first woman to preside an airline in South America, she has been part of different guild directories in tourism, commerce and aviation. She also forms part of different corporate directories inside and outside the country. Gabriela participated as a member of the Negotiating Team of Yasuní ITT and served as General Manager of Quito Tourism.

She has received several recognitions throughout her career for support to the Community, Tourism, Aviation and Entrepreneurship as well as leadership. She has been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by different institutions.

Currently, she is part of the Board of Directors of Movich Hotels - Colombian hotel group, holds the General Management of Le Parc Hotel in Quito, is a member of the Board of Directors of Cervecería Nacional - AmbInBev in Ecuador. Management of a renewable energy project in Chile and supporting as Vice President of International Corporate Affairs in a regional energy integration project.
