Ma. Lorena Romero Martínez

Junior Research Assistant

Currently she works as a Junior Research Assistant for the Galapagos Verde 2050 project, under the line of research for the ecological restoration of the archipelago.

Ma. Lorena completed her Master in Research (MRes) in 2016, investigating introgressive hybridisation in tilapiine species within Tanzanian rivers. In 2015 she graduated as a Zoologist/Marine Zoologist at Bangor University, specialising in the speciation of cichlid fish.
