Juan Manuel Garcia is an Ecuadorian documentary filmmaker with a degree in Environmental Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University and a master's degree in Theory and Practice of Creative Documentary with a specialization in Interactive Documentary from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

He has 5 years of experience in audiovisual and photographic production, with an emphasis on socio-environmental issues. His portfolio includes the interactive virtual reality documentary Metaverso and some independent shorts films.
