Darrel Schoeling

Darrel is director of expedition development at Lindblad Expeditions in New York.

An entrepreneur, writer and travel executive based in New York, Darrel is a former Galapagos naturalist guide #137. A founding member and former executive secretary of the International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators, he is active in conversation and environmental policy. He was expedition leader for seven seasons in Antarctica, and has organized and led trips from Galapagos to Costa Rica, French Polynesia, Greenland and the Russian Arctic.

He was founder and president of Longitude Books.
