Leaf blades apically rounded where the ultimate segments are larger than in L. lecocarpoides and more crowed than L. leptolobus. Mature fruit flaring and winged.

Critically endangered

Distribution

Distribution: Species restricted to Floreana Island, with two large and two smaller subpopulations. Probably diminished due to attack by introduced goats, and shows fluctuations in small populations.
