Erika Loor

Junior Librarian

Erika works in a small research library that serves scientists, researchers, students, naturalist guides, and other visitors. She has been with the Charles Darwin Foundation (FCD) since 2011, where she began her collaboration as a local volunteer in this wonderful space. She has continued to contribute and currently holds the position of Junior Librarian, providing library services, classification, cataloging, and maintenance of the various collections housed here.

Erika is a resident of Galápagos, holding a Bachelor's degree in Ecological Tourism. She has participated in various workshops and conferences organized by the National Association of Librarians Eugenio Espejo (ANABE). Additionally, she has undergone training in courses related to Library Science offered by universities and libraries in Ecuador and Colombia.
