Communications Coordinator
Maria Isabel has a degree in Interactivity and Multimedia with a specialization in Communication Design from San Francisco University of Quito - Ecuador, and a Master degree in International Communication from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
She has 8 years of experience in the field of communication in public and private companies. She also speaks English, Mandarin and Spanish. She started working as part of our team in August 2018, as Communication Officer and in October 2019 she was appointed interim Coordinator of the area. Then, in November 2020 she was promoted to Marketing and Communications Coordinator, where she leads communications and marketing campaigns to support the mission of the Charles Darwin Foundation. Isabel works closely with the Fundraising team to develop stories, news and report on the progress of scientific projects, and thus make our work visible to the various audiences of the institution.
