Carla Pinto

Member of the Board

Carla Pinto is the President of Pinto Enterprises, a major affordable fashion retail chain in Ecuador. She has worked her way up the family business over the past 18 years working in different leadership functions including as Sales Director and New Product Development Manager, among other.

A graduate of Yale University and the University of Cambridge, Carla is an Ecuadorian national. She also holds an MBA from IDE Business School.

Carla joined CDF’s Board in January 2024 and is serving as its Treasurer. As a passionate advocate of sustainability and a firm believer in the importance of scientific research’s contribution to conservation action, Carla looks forward to contribute her finance, marketing and commercial skills, experience and network to further advance the CDF’s mission and vision.
