Johanna Carrión

Interinstitutional Affairs Director

As Interinstitutional Affairs Director and Chief of Staff, Johanna works very closely with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors to ensure the priorities set out in CDF’s Strategic Plan are delivered on. Her work also focuses on supporting the establishment and strengthening of national and international strategic alliances to strengthen the science and complementary actions carried out in the CDRS. Johanna is a permanent resident of Galapagos. Prior to joining the Charles Darwin Foundation in 2013, she was a Fellow of the institution. Aside from her role at CDF, Johanna is part of the National Geographic Society's Explorer list, she is member of the Board of Scalesia Foundation, and a Board member of the International League of Conservation Photographers.
