Lenyn Betancourt
Curator at the Invertebrates Collection of the Charles Darwin Research Station (ICCDRS)
Lenyn, a biologist affiliated with the Charles Darwin Foundation since 2014, specializes in the taxonomic study of invertebrates in the Galápagos. He has authored and collaborated on several publications for specialized journals, drawing from research projects focused on specimens housed in the Invertebrate Collection of the Charles Darwin Research Station (ICCDRS).
Lenyn also has experience in education; for six years, he was part of the Communication FCD team, where he worked as an Educator and Promoter of Environmental Education, focusing on the conservation and sustainable development of the islands. Currently, he holds Master's degrees in Tropical Biodiversity and Creative Writing, using them to promote science communication through Literature.
