Romina Cahuana

Environmental Education Assistant

Romina is an educator with a passion for literature and science. She earned her bachelor's degree in Education from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito.

In 2021, Romina joined the Charles Darwin Foundation team, initially as a volunteer and later as an Environmental Education Assistant in the Education and Community Engagement Program.

Her primary focus has been on developing and implementing educational activities aimed at allowing children and adolescents in the Galapagos Islands to deepen their understanding of the surrounding environment. In this capacity, Romina has collaborated with local educational institutions and scientists from the Foundation. Together, they have worked to create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and motivation among students to explore and learn more about their environment.
