In 2013, the Charles Darwin Foundation and Galapagos National Park Directorate launched the 'Galapagos Verde 2050 Project (GV2050)'. This innovative initiative focuses on applied science for ecological restoration and sustainable agriculture, aiming to conserve the archipelago and support human well-being until 2050.
