Ángel Celi has been part of the Charles Darwin Foundation since October 2014. He initially joined the Galápagos Verde 2050 project—an ecological restoration program focused on arid zone restoration—and in 2020 became part of the operations team, where he is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Charles Darwin Research Station’s botanical gardens, which include endemic and native plant.
