About the Expedition

This seven-day journey through the southeastern and western Galapagos offers rare access to the islands' extraordinary biodiversity, including Darwin's finches and other species found nowhere else on Earth, alongside the scientists who uncovered their stories. Days will be spent observing evolution in action and sharing insights shaped by a lifetime of discovery.

For more than four decades, the Grants' research on Galapagos finches provided some of the strongest evidence ever recorded of evolution in action, transforming our understanding of how species adapt to change. This journey coincides with an important milestone: Peter will celebrate his 90th birthday just days before the cruise, with Rosemary having marked hers only weeks earlier, making this cruise not only a scientific voyage but a family celebration.

This is a voyage for those who have seen much of the world and now seek something deeper: knowledge paired with impact, beauty paired with responsibility. By joining us, you become part of a living continuum of discovery, helping safeguard the science that illuminates how species respond to a rapidly changing planet.
