The Charles Darwin Foundation is opening its doors to the community this Friday, 21st of July, from 8:00 to 16:00.
We welcome you to to our Scientific Station and learn firsthand about the work we do for the conservation and sustainable development of Galapagos, home to unique species in the world, but also our home.
This important event takes place annually to commemorate the establishment of the Charles Darwin Foundation, which is celebrating its 64th anniversary this year.

At our Open House 2023, you will have the opportunity to explore one of the 2 routes, with 8 stands each, to get up close with the latest advances in scientific research and conservation actions carried out in Galapagos by some of the Foundation's Projects and Programs, such as:
Sea Turtles
Restoration of the Scalesia forest and terrestrial invasive species
Plastic pollution in Galapagos

During the morning, we will welcome educational institutions, and in the afternoon, public, private, and organizational institutions will visit us. The general public can visit us throughout the day.
